Brighton look set to be without striker Ashley Barnes with a twisted ankle as the Seagulls bid to make it six wins on the bounce.
Jim McNulty (ankle) and Jamie Smith (foot) both miss out, but defender Tommy Elphick (mumps) is back.
Notts County striker Craig Westcarr is hoping to recover from a knee injury in time to face the league leaders.
Westcarr has not played since coming off during the home defeat against Peterborough on 8 March.
Barnes, who has hit 15 goals this season, was injured in Saturday's 1-0 win at Oldham, when Gus Poyet's men kept a third successive clean sheet.
Fran Sandaza and Gary Hart are in line to replace him, although Chris Wood could be handed a start prior to joining up with New Zealand on international duty.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:
"We're strong at home. We need to keep winning games and keep adding points to the table.

"I'd like to play a bit better and pass the ball better, but, when you are winning you cannot complain really. The last few games at home have been fights.
"Notts County have been doing a few things differently. Players go to another level when they play Brighton and it becomes more difficult for us. Players have extra motivation whey they play the top team in the league."
